Cowal Gathering is the place to see the cream of highland dancing as we host the Scottish and World Championships. Be prepared to be blown away by the grace, skill and stamina on display as the finest dancers in the world battle it out for the title of World Champion.
The dancing gets underway on Thursday with the Scottish Championships and the qualifiers for the World Championship Finals bring international competitors from Canada, the US, Australia and New Zealand.
On Friday we host the Scottish National Championships which sees the best homegrown Scottish dancers competing for the silverware. Saturday sees the finals of the World Championships – the most important event in the highland dancing calendar. We also hold competitions to encourage emerging highland dancing talent.
To win a Cowal Gold Medal is the ultimate ambition of every highland dancer. Come along and share the excitement.
